You would think the first week of 2023 would take it easy on us, but noooo.
In our first episode of the year, and the first of Season 1 (last year has been named season zero), Brent and Jon cover a full range of madness even thought the year has only just begun.
The Japanese Central Bank, after December’s surprise announcement to “widen the band” of yield curve control, has decided to go full brrrr … but everyone knows you never go full brrrr.
In addition, the US Congress provided plenty of fodder and fumbling.
Speaking of fumbles, not much sports talk in this one, although there is a discussion about the drama between Greta Thunberg and Andrew Tate.
